Portada » Self-guided Portuguese Camino: September 2024
- September 12, 2024
I am profoundly grateful for all of the work that you did in planning and setting up this trip for us and for how generously and kindly and promptly and efficiently you responded when we had our two problems (and then the almost rain day problem that I had completely forgotten until now). Thank you for everything. I actually get a bit emotional and weepy when I think about how wonderful this cycling trip was. I love long distance cycling: the easy parts, the tough parts, the navigation, the getting to know a topography intimately, the variation between countryside, exurban and urban areas… I love all of it. This trip was a quintessential long distance cycling trip that allowed me to get to know the north coast of Portugal and Galicia in a way that I never could have otherwise. The trip began as a cycling/touristy/adventure and slowly evolved into a pilgrimage. I walked the Camino Frances 30 years ago with my mother after the death of my father. Cycling the Camino Portuges became another one of those deeply important life experiences that allowed me to deepen my thinking about who I am and what the world is and who we are as humans in the world. Thank you for this transformational, beautiful and fun experience. I am profoundly grateful.
