Guided Portuguese Camino: June 2025

One, of the various, outstanding aspects of our trip was the experience of regional food, highlighting the very special culinary offerings, including the variety and local flavors of Portugal and Spain! We gained a new appreciation of the white wines that complemented our meals! We had picnics, breaks for espresso, snack and water stops with the van, and many photo opportunities to document the visual beauty, and mark the locations that we visited, trying to soak it all in and preserve as much as possible for recollection.

Oh, and the optional days in Baiona and Finisterre were really special, and we are so very glad that we added them in! The sailboat excursion to the Cies Islands was a great break, and a unique opportunity that we really enjoyed; the lunch as equally incredible! WOW! But the luncheon that we enjoyed in Finisterre exceeded all expectations in every respect- double WOW! So memorable!
