We were coming to Marbella, Spain for me to do the World 70.3 championship and wanted to add on to our trip. I chose to use Bike Spain b/c they offered the self guided tour close to where we were going. We loved the self guided option!

Before too much time had passed by, I wanted to say how much fun Gwen and I had on the amazing Asturias adventure. Enrique, Mario, Sergio, and Aviva were outstanding. Fun, informative, positive, interesting, interested (not, necessarily, the same as "interesting"), and just a joy to be around. The hotels were outstanding. The food, sublime. And the scenery. Wow. What a beautiful part of the world! IMHO, prettier than southern Spain.
We selected Bike Spain because of its reputation for carefully researched routes , accommodations, state-of-the-art equipment and competent, experienced guides. Bike Spain rates a 10 with regard to value. It provided all the essential ingredients for a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime cycling tour. The trip was expensive but the route planning, daily service and evening accommodations were top-of-the-line!
It was a wonderful and personal experience. Tour team is skilled, warm, and over-and above. Great hotel experiences (each with character), food great, VIP experiences exceptional. Well-priced. I loved the conversation first day sitting next to Pablo on the train. So much time and attention with both Stephane and JP. And our group of fellow riders as well as the office team who joined us on the last day, not to mention the cross conversations with folks on other Bike Spain trips that week. My heart is with Bike Spain!!
Arriving in Santiago, & our first sighting of the Cathedral was an amazing, emotional reaction that brought some tears along with the smiles of accomplishment, which included riding in inclement weather, hill climbing, as well as navigating crowds and urban traffic challenges. But with all that, it pales in comparison with the universal joy we encountered among the pilgrims, well wishes: “Bom Caminho” and then “Buen Camino”….
This was our second trip to Mallorca to cycle. Might be a third. It was a nice touch receiving the t-shirt. The handlebar bag was a real treat for keeping extra items...and was so nice that we got to keep it! 10/10. The admin/booking support, routes/maps, hotels and bikes were great. Well worth the money spent
I am profoundly grateful for all of the work that you did in planning and setting up this trip for us and for how generously and kindly and promptly and efficiently you responded when we had our two problems (and then the almost rain day problem that I had completely forgotten until now). Thank you for everything. I actually get a bit emotional and weepy when I think about how wonderful this cycling trip was.
The human connections, riding together, jumping in the van and traveling around as a group, enjoying dinners and after meal conversations - those are the best memories and we'll cherish this trip for the rest of our lives... and will most likely stay in touch and maybe ride again with some of the crew!!

Every wine tour and tasting were phenomenal and so personal. All of the restaurants, not just the ones for dinner, but for lunch and coffee too, were just great picks. He really knows the best of the best! Our favorite ride was Day 6 (I think). We rode through beautiful country roads. It was very peaceful, beautiful, and really no traffic. After the 2020 cancelations and restrictions, we were happy to get back on the road with the pros. We were able to get up close and personal with the riders and felt the organization had measures in place to keep everyone safe.The rides were unbeatable and challenging. The mountain climbs gave us beautiful views over different regions in Spain. The hotels were elegant and comfortable for a relaxing evening after the rides with savory dinner to fuel up for the next day. I loved Bobadilla! It was my favorite. It was also very nice to end in Finca Cortesin. Reina Victoria has a perfect location in Ronda, easy for sightseeing and to access the restaurants.
Having made it from Ronda to Finca Cortesin was a great feat for us, and we are very proud to be able to have accomplished it. I loved the smells in the routes around Bobadilla, there is some wild yellow flower that had a vanilla-like perfume that was delicious, aside from the Olive oil pressing mills we biked around. Ronda is spectacular, I am glad we took an afternoon off just to walk around the city. What we enjoyed the most was the change in scenarios between the regions, it never got boring"

Every hotel was excelent! Both from the point of view of lodging as well as gastronomy and location. The best was, without doubt, Parador de Reyes Católicos the last night in Santiago!The tour deserves a 10! "All the hotels were excellent in different ways. Bodegas Puelles was our favourite (the winery). Jesus, the host, was so engaging and showed us all around his family's winery with pride and passion and gave us a wine tasting for no cost. We felt part of his extended family. A bonus was the pool, jacuzzi and sauna which helped to relieve sore muscles after the rides..The bicycles were of excellent quality. With hindsight, my husband & I should have booked the motorised version.

Great trip in the Alps, Switzerland and final in Paris.We were in the Swiss and French Alps to support the professional teams of cyclists up to the final stage in Paris during the Tour de France 2016. We spent 2 nights at the amazing Hotel Abadia Retuerta LeDomaine located in Ribera del Duero and were delighted with our stay. This 5-stars hotel has been voted best hotel of Spain in 2016. The recent abbey renovation respects the integrity of 1000 years of history. The original monastic uses of rooms were maintained, the Romanesque-Baroque architecture conserved, not altered.

The team was great. Pablo did a great job of letting us know the route and providing historical references along the way. Pablo's knowledge of the area and history was great. We always felt safe on the roads during our trip. Pablo also provided us some coaching and tips on our cycling form. Luis was great support, we had plenty of food and water along our route, it was nice to have support along the way. Both guys were friendly and pleasant to be around.

The final of the Vuelta a España 2015 took place this year in the heart of Madrid city centre with the first-ever Madrid Challenge women's race taking place before the pro-riders arrived. With our VIP seats in the Neptune tent located right at the finish line, we were in the perfect position to see the riders make their claim for a place on the podium.
We put together a customized Andalucía cycling tour for this lovely family. The tour started in Málaga and ended in Madrid. When asked what their favorite part of the trip was they said, "The first and second day of bike riding amongst the olive trees and seeing the great views; staying at the Hotel Bobadilla in Málaga; the bike tours in Madrid; seeing the Real Madrid game; doing it all in a one week period of time!" We are so happy that this family had such a great cycling experience in Spain, and we hope to see them again!

Boise, Idaho has the largest population of Basque people in the United States, which inspired these cyclisits to tour the region of their friends and neighbors with a week long Basque Country biking trip. We organized a customized biking trip for the Landgartens and Mosers, 2 couples from New York, in the Costa Brava area in July. Staying in two of the finest hotels this part of Catalonia has to offer, the small group biked some of the best routes of the area from the inland trails of the medieval villages of Pals, Pubol and Peretallada to the spectacular, coastal routes towards Cadaques.

On this epic tour of The Tour de France, our clients experienced some of the best rides of the race, and then cheered on the pro riders as they passed them on the exact same climbs! While cycling through the beautiful Pyrenees Mountains and the Tarn Valley, our clients witnessed five decisive second week Tour stages and got up close and personal with the riders and some entertaining spectacles along the way. They also had the chance to explore gorgeous medieval towns, and even stayed in the same hotel as the Spanish MOVISTAR and Tinkoff-Saxo Tour teams. This was definitely a Tour to remember!

One of our last tours of the year was an interesting trip with the Gallivan family from California who decided to come to the South Spain as a tribute to their Grandpa Bill who is still cycling at 80 years of age. It was a pleasure to see a whole family come together to combine their passion for cycling and traveling. They loved the ancient city of Toledo, were amazed by the windmills in the land of Don Quixote and had a great experience in the Mosque of Cordoba, before enjoying a quintessential tapas lunch in the city’s Moorish quarter.
