Self-guided Andalusia: November 2025

The hotels exceeded our expectations. My favorites were Hotel Patria Chica (hotel and rooms were gorgeous) and breakfast was amazing from the food to the service). I also loved Hotel Rural La Paloma. The owner was amazing. We showed up late due to rain/wind and were soaking wet. He opened the door and invited us in, gave us the keys and told us to go shower and get warm. It was like a scene out of a story book. Our dinner there night was great. The dining room was atmosphere was cozy. Breakfast the next day was good as well!

Everything was great. We had NO issues. We had all the information we needed, maps and equipment. We had two flats but had the tools and skill set to change the tires making it as easy fix. The route was great! The terrian was more challening than anticipated. So glad we had the ebikes. Two of us didn’t us the battery on our bikes often but there were a few hills we did and were glad we had the option.

The ebikes are MUST for this route. I am an avid cyclist and even I found it challenging at times. While the distances were not long each day the hills were no joke! The bikes fit us all perfectly. We were able to charge them each night and all hotels were very accommodating to this.
