Ericksons cross the Pyrenees: September 2025

We selected Bike Spain because of its reputation for carefully researched routes , accommodations, state-of-the-art equipment and competent, experienced guides. Bike Spain rates a 10 with regard to value. It provided all the essential ingredients for a memorable, once-in-a-lifetime cycling tour. The trip was expensive but the route planning, daily service and evening accommodations were top-of-the-line!
Our route took us through many remote towns and villages but even though choices were limited we always stayed in cozy, comfortable accommodations with a good cuisine. The route selected took us through high mountain villages, old fortresses and stunningly beautiful mountain scenery. To go through the 1,000 year-old fortified villages such as Alquezar or Sos Reyes de Catolicos where Ferdinand and Isabel had their start was a cultural bonus on an otherwise physical adventure….it provided an intimate exposure to Spain’s culture and history….we really loved it!
